We are delighted to announce that we will be running a workshop at this year’s Paediatric Critical Care Society (PCCS) annual conference on Wednesday 14th September as part of their pre-conference workshop programme.

The workshop will be led by members of our multi-disciplinary Sound Environments project team including; Songbirds associate musicians, Jess and Chloe, Eleanor, Matron for PICU and Polly, Play Leader linked to PICU at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital

The workshop will support a range of healthcare professionals (nurses, play staff, commissioners) to gain a deeper understanding of the use of live musical interaction programmes in Paediatric Critical Care, and the benefits of such programmes for patients, families, staff and the wider clinical environment.
